Perriswood is a family-run business situated in the heart of Gower, South Wales, overlooking the stunning Oxwich Bay. We provide a wide range of activities that can be enjoyed by all generations and families. Whether you are looking to try something new, relax and take in the beautiful scenery, have fun with the family, or celebrate a special occasion, Perriswood is the place to be!

Our archery sessions are available all day, every day, on our outside range with the fabulous sea view, or indoors if the weather is too bad. They are suitable for the whole family (from 6 years old) and for all abilities. With a collection of 20 birds of prey, our falconry centre offers magnificent displays and experience days where you will have the opportunity to meet and hold the birds.

Perriswood is also a truly unique location for coastal weddings. Our beautiful marquee provides a perfect backdrop for your big day with panoramic sea views. We specialize in bespoke, dog-friendly weddings and offer a stunning venue for both celebrant and humanist ceremonies.

For those seeking a thrill, our popular air rifle range provides a safe and fun activity for visitors aged 14 and over. After all the excitement, you can relax at Gloria’s lovely on-site café, serving locally made cakes, Gower Coffee, and the famous Joe’s Ice Cream.

Extend your stay in our three beautifully equipped glamping pods or on our Certified Location for the Caravan and Motorhome Club, both offering breathtaking views. Perriswood is more than just a destination—it’s a place to create lasting memories.

    A wonderful experience for children and adults

    My daughter and four grandchildren visited this holiday attraction during the afternoon of 10 April. We were looking for an attraction to entertain the children during the first week of their Easter holiday and we stuck the jackpot! We were warmly welcomed to the center and enjoyed an exciting display of falconry of the highest quality. The safety of the audience was safeguarded by vigilant well trained staff and the display was stunning. The children were all able to get close access to the birds and under close monitoring were able to have each bird land on their leather glove covered arms. They were enthralled. The expertise and skill of the staff in presenting the display was of the highest order. Following this the children enjoyed tea and cakes followed by an archery session, again with expert tutors where their safety was ensured through close and effective supervision. This is a first class attraction that provides value for money and well worth a visit.

    The staff are welcoming and professional. The level of instruction and encouragement with our archery, got us all hitting the target…most of the time! The birds were displayed from knowledgable and experienced handlers and we have never been so close to such magnificent animals. Thank you for a very memorable end to our bank holiday weekend away.

    What Great day!….with beautiful views over the bay lovely cafe and the hawks and falcons( flight of the falcon was amazing)….indoor and outdoor archery the staff and instructors are polite and professional….the lengths they go to to keep the birds in tiptop condition…….they keep them within ounces of the perfect weight and check this every day…….if I had to nit pick…perhaps a better car parking arrangement any hoo my Grand kids were kept enthralled for the whole day………result!!!

    Whether it’s your shopping list, to do list, Christmas card list, bucket list or indeed brhams list…a visit to this place needs to be at the top of it! Hubby & me did the ‘targets, talons & tea’ experience. Archery for both of us followed by time with Luke the falconer with an owl a hawk and Ceasar the falcon doing his thing…flying at speed and swooping past so close that you could feel the draft from his wings! Brilliant! Tea or coffee with Welsh cakes & biscuits rounded off our thoroughly enjoyable and informative experience. Not to be missed.

    Was a lovely afternoon out. The children had plenty of time to do each activity (archery and falconry) they weren’t rushed, and we given excellent instruction -archery and fabulous information about the birds that flew. Would really recommend for birthday parties of any size.
